Surinaamse Postspaarbank Delivers Needed Services to Remote Regions Via Euronet Mobile Banking and POS Solutions
June 13, 2016

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas, USA, June 13, 2016 - Euronet Software Solutions, a division of leading electronic payments provider Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ:EEFT), today announced that Surinaamse Postspaarbank (Surinamese Postal Bank or SPSB), based in Paramaribo, Suriname is in the process of implementing Euronet's mobile banking, point-of-sale (POS), and POS banking solutions, along with EMV chip-card. The new services are part of Surinaamse Postspaarbank's competitive strategy and are directed to attract more commercial customers while also providing additional services to its consumer customer base.

As Surinaamse Postspaarbank serves customers in many remote areas, finding reliable, cost-effective ways to deliver services to these areas can be challenging. Innovative products, such as Euronet's POS Banking solution, which allows consumers to conduct banking transactions at participating merchant locations, coupled with Euronet mobile banking, means SPSB can now bring the added convenience of providing these much needed services to areas where it might not be feasible to have a traditional branch bank location.

Ginmardo B. Kromosoeto, BSc, SPSB CEO, points to Euronet's track record of providing excellent customer service and support along with solutions that meet the bank's needs as the primary reasons for the bank's selection of Euronet's products for this important service expansion.

"For more than a decade, Surinaamse Postspaarbank has looked to Euronet to provide proven technology solutions that deliver value, convenience and dependability for its customers," said Cindy Ashcraft, Vice President of Euronet Worldwide and Managing Director for Euronet Software Solutions. "As the bank works to expand the accessibility of their services to the more remote regions of Suriname, we couldn't be more pleased that the bank has once again chosen Euronet."
